European red foxes are one of Australia’s most widespread invasive predators. They prey on lambs, poultry, and native wildlife including ground-nesting birds, small mammals, and reptiles. Foxes are primarily nocturnal and highly adaptable, thriving in rural, semi-rural, and urban environments across NSW.
