Feral pigs are one of Australia’s most destructive invasive species, causing an estimated $100 million in agricultural damage annually. They destroy crops, damage fences and water infrastructure, prey on native wildlife, and spread disease to livestock. In Central West NSW, feral pig populations have been steadily increasing, driven by access to water, grain crops, and favourable habitat.
